I WAS waiting at the Rougier Street bus stop one Sunday when I was upset to find shattered glass everywhere from a broken roof window.
It was early afternoon so there had been plenty of time to clear the glass up. It proved a difficult hazard for a mother with a pushchair and an elderly woman in a wheelchair.
The second problem was that the ladies' toilets were closed while the gents' were open. A woman asked where the nearest toilets were and I directed her to the station.
These two situations create a very poor impression to tourist bus passengers arriving in York.
