The Hunters York Senior League Joe Lumb XI remain undefeated after a massive 218-run win over the Craven District at Skipton.
Openers Nathan Briggs (Hemingbrough) and skipper Leon Sacks (Acomb) laid a very solid foundation with a patnership of 168, which ended when Sacks was bowled for 77.
Fifteen-year-old Jack Bolam (Dunnington) then proceeded to hit 74no, includung nine fours and two sixes, in the last 13 overs.
Briggs finished with an excellent 119no, his first century for the Joe Lumb side, in a total of 288-1.
The York League bowlers then took charge, backed by an excellent fielding display.
Fifteen-year-old Alex Renton (Clifton Alliance) took 4-24 on his debut, Philip Aconley (Pickering) claimed 3-21, Tom Bartram (York) 1-14, and Craig Piggott (Castleford) 1-8, as Craven totalled only 70.
The York team will face much stiffer opposition in their next game at Heworth this Sunday, when they play the Nidderdale League, starting at 2pm.
