Rowntree Park's return to the top-level looks more convincing after a 69-39 win against Riccall with 28 games from Ian Macaulay and Martin O'Connell.
Wheldrake beat bottom team Bubwith. David McDermott and Jamie Moore scored 25 games, but Ian Driffill and Cliff Harrison's unbeaten 23 for Bubwith was not well supported.
Wigginton gained two points when Sutton could not raise a side thereby losing a point.
York moved one point behind top team Strensall in division two, after beating struggling Knaresborough 67-41, Howard Pallister and John Dyson leading the way with 25 games.
Copmanthorpe, two matches behind most teams, did Boston Spa no favours with a 58-50 win.
Civil Service were glad to end their lean spell with a 55-53 win at Appleton Roebuck and move back to third. Service's Neil Johnson and Graham Cook were unbeaten on 23 games, although Appleton's John Giles and Dave Bradley were the match's top-scorers with 25 games.
Division three leaders Castlegarth I duly beat bottom club Knaresborough II. Jamie Perkins and Stuart Robinson were the best players with 25 games.
Cawood had a handy win 61-47 against York II, Eddie Burton and Derek Andrews contributing 22 games.
Unbeaten Poppleton II saw off point-less Bishopthorpe, as Richard Moss and Charles Bush scored 24 games from their 64 haul.
Sherburn stay top of division four after their 65-43 win at Heworth.
Poppleton III complete the two-horse race winning 65 games at Riccall II. Ron Pearson and John Major scored 25 games despite losing 9-3 to Steve Smowton and Terry Knowles, who themselves scored 24.
Copmanthorpe II beat Wilberfoss 63-45 to move into third. Ron Machen/Wayne Isherwood and Chris Scott/Paul Guilfoyle scored 22 games as did Dave Smillie and Ian Webster for Wilberfoss.
Wheldrake II, well ahead on matches played in division five, had a sound 60-48 win against Sheriff Hutton, Dave Fenton and Bryn Johns scoring 28 games.
Unbeaten Sutton II overcame Starbeck 62-46 to remain second. Dave Nowell and Mark Pryce piled up 23 games.
Nestl scored a 58-50 win against Strensall II by 58-50. Matt Lowery and Clive Christison won 27 games.
Fulford also managed their second win of the season against Cliffe with Richard Ekers and Leo Waters scoring 25 games.
In division six, Boston Spa II beat Bishopthorpe II soundly by 87-21. The Squires/Hollins pair led the way with 31 games, well supported by Mike Morritt and Richard Widnall's 30-game haul.
Paul Harrison and Charlie Mills scored 24 games of Appleton Roebuck's 67 total at New Earswick II.
