POLICE have arrested a man after a spate of incidents in a North Yorkshire market town at the weekend.
A youth was seen smashing windows at Pickering Antiques at about 7.30pm on Sunday. A window was broken at Magson's Seeds in Southgate in the town the same night. A Kia car parked in the Safeway car park was also damaged, and a window in the baby changing rooms at the town's toilets was also smashed that night. PC Ian Fraser, of Malton Police, said a man had been arrested and released on bail while inquiries continued.
