Bradford's young rugby league mites lifted the inaugural Junior Canterbury Cup at the York International 9's tournament.
Bradford's best under-10 and under-11s took on their York counterparts in a one-off game and triumphed 36-18.
The York team, drawn from Acorn RL, performed admirably with Gareth Smith, Sam Orange and Ricky James scoring and Joel Johnson crowned man of the match.
Bradford intend to return to the tournament next year and defend their crown, when it is hoped more teams will compete for the Canterbury Cup.
