ENSURING customers receive the best possible service is behind a York motor company's decision to create a new relationship management team.
Mercedes-Benz of York - part of the Nidd Vale Group - has created two posts to ensure car buyers get an even better service at the Clifton Moor dealership.
Victoria Streek, who joined the company as senior receptionist and marketing executive in September 2002, is the newly-appointed customer relations manager.
She has six years business experience during which time she has held various senior administrative posts.
Joining her is Paul Midgeley, who has extensive IT experience, and is the team's database manager.
During a business career of some 35 years, he has gained high level experience as a systems and business analyst.
For this new post he has moved from Nidd Vale's Harrogate site where he was a showroom host as well as having IT responsibilities.
Mark Tomlinson, general sales manager of Mercedes Benz, North Yorkshire, said: "Our York site has performed very well since opening last year and we want to sustain Nidd Vale's award-winning reputation for customer service.
"This new team will ensure the positive trend continues."
