Malton & Old Malton won the division four table-topping clash with Huby and now have the biggest lead in any of the seven divisions having stretched their advantage over their opponents to 34 points.
Huby skipper Paul Moore made a good 70 while Mike Mierzwinski added 32 as Chris Brigham took 3-62 in Huby's 155-5.
In reply, Les Parkin made 60 and Steve Baxter 38 as Malton won an important match in a thrilling finish by one wicket.
The two Sheriff Hutton sides met on the village ground where visiting Sheriff Hutton Bridge just failed to reach their hosts' target in a drawn game.
Sheriff opener Peter Carr made 40 then Richard Armitage's 35 gave a boost in middle order. Dave Houldridge took 5-67 in a 22-over spell for the visitors to help hold the home team to 155-9.
SHB then made a poor start as three wickets fell for 28. Opener Steve Clipston had made 27 when he was bowled by Carr at 70 but skipper Dave Ellis worked hard for his side as he made 59no. Geoff Schofield chipped in with 20 but Bridge were only able to reach 150-8 due mainly to Simon Thornton's spell of 4-29 off 16 economical overs.
An unbeaten 60 by Richard Clayton added to John Webster's undefeated 32 took Acomb to a seven-wicket victory after Whitkirk had been restricted to 134-9. Stuart Pickles was the prime Whitkirk batsman with 58 while Tim Merrick 3-39 and Neil Hinde 3-53 each claimed three wickets.
Dunnington had a disastrous day at Cawood where they were shot out for the day's lowest total when Howard Steane took 4-12 and Simon Hall 3-23 had them out for 55.
Cawood lost two early wickets but then coasted to victory with Richard Nicholson making 21no and Stuart Robson 23no.
Three Osbaldwick batsmen hit half centuries to set up a big win over a Thorp Arch & Boston Spa side who are facing a battle to avoid relegation.
Andy Hall followed his century a week earlier with 60, Neil Bellerby was unbeaten with 55 and Stuart Hall made 51 in the home total of 231-4. Brian Burton then took 3-19 and Bellerby added two wickets to his runs as TABS were dismissed for exactly 100.
