Stallone, a reformed character in recent weeks, can complete a hat-trick of wins by triumphing in the feature race at Beverley tomorrow.

The six-year-old, trained at Kirby Underdale by Noel Wilson, goes for the £10,000 Brantingham Handicap and will again have the assistance of talented Ryedale apprentice Tony Hamilton.

Previously trained by David Nicholls, and originally by Jeremy Noseda at Newmarket, Stallone was at one time a useful performer but seemed to lose his way.

Wilson, though, has conjured a return to form from the six-year-old, who has won his last two races at Newcastle, with Hamilton in the saddle on both occasions.

His latest success was achieved by a neck from Cripsey Brook, who has since franked the form by winning at Nottingham.

Stallone faces a step up in class tomorrow, but with his confidence now sky-high again, the gelding has every chance of continuing his winning ways.

Dance To My Tune has good prospects of obliging for Mike Sowersby and Paul Hanagan in the Paddock Bar Maiden Auction Fillies' Stakes.

The two-year-old, a promising third here on her debut to the useful Milk It Mick, has since occupied the same position in a fair race at Redcar, on both occasions doing all her best work in the closing stages.

Dance To My Tune steps up to an extended seven furlongs tomorrow and the extra distance should serve her well.

Hanagan has chances of a double on the Richard Fahey-trained Blackthorn in the claimer, while Fahey, in turn, has double prospects, courtesy of Sir Sandrovitich in the apprentice handicap.

The mount of stable claimer Charlie Poste, Sir Sandrovitch nearly pulled-off the impossible here last week, winning a big-field five-furlong race from the disadvantaged number-one draw.

A strong-finishing second to Loughlorien, Sir Sandrovitch is napped to go one better.

At Brighton, Kieren Fallon, who rode four winners at Pontefract yesterday, can hit the target on Rossellini in the Gresham Blake Maiden Fillies' Stakes.

Come the weekend, Sir Michael Stoute and Fallon, on the mark at Royal Ascot with Russian Rhythm, are expected to be represented in the Irish Derby by Kris Kin, recent winner of the Vodafone Derby at Epsom.

An official announcement of the colt's participation at The Curragh was expected to be made this afternoon.
