VISITORS to York's Learning Festival had a musical soundtrack thanks to this unusual looking guitar.
The instrument, displayed by Natalie Olden, of Immersive Media Spaces, based at the University of York Innovation Centre, is actually an electronic music technology kit.
Liz McNeil, of Learning City York, said: "It was really popular, lots of people were interested and came along to have a go."
York Learning Festival 2003 was a celebration of lifelong learning aimed at people living, working or visiting York.
It ran on Thursday and yesterday in Parliament Street and St Sampson's Square. Other activities included chemistry, flower arranging and animal management.
