JUST wanted to say well done York City Knights. What a game on Sunday against Hunslet.
The lads were absolutely outstanding in the first half and, even though the second half did have a few errors, it was one of the best York games I have seen for a while.
Danny Brough was my man of the match as well, but it's good to say that it took some choosing that day on what can only be described as a fantastic team effort.
Things are obviously turning the corner and it was wonderful to see so many York supporters there. They obviously lifted the team as well, with some really good vocal support, and this is what the team needs to hear every week.
The club are doing their part, the team are doing theirs and so it is up to us, the supporters, to do ours, both home and away.
The next game is Workington. Yes, a fair journey but the Supporters' Club will be running a bus again and for the price of £10 you can go in comfort and give the lads the support they deserve and spur them on to another win.
You have heard all the Super League clubs say that they always get a buzz from hearing all their supporters, well let's give these lads (who are trying really hard) the support they need.
Who knows, possibly with our help the club could be up there challenging for a place in division one.
Mrs N Beavers,
Theresa Close,
York.
