KNAVESMIRE Harriers' Malcolm Fawcett was the pick of the region's athletes competing in the Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships in Stranraer.
Fawcett celebrated a personal hat-trick, taking gold in the 2000metres lightweight (60 years and over) in a time of 7-10.7. He also took gold in the 1000m in 3-29.3, a personal best time.
York White Rose triathlete John Booth, above left, enjoyed a clean sweep of medals.
Rowing in the 2000m lightweight (50-54 years) section, Booth took the silver medal in a time of 6-53.5, just one second behind world record holder Jean-Paul Tardeau.
Booth then claimed bronze in the 1000m in a time of 3-20.4 and completed his medal haul away from the indoor rowing championships by taking gold in the Troon Duathlon staged the following day.
Pocklington's John Brooks, above centre, took bronze in the 2000m light-weight (40-44 years) category in a time of 6min 37.6 sec.
Brooks finished just one second behind his brother, David, who claimed the silver medal.
In the 1000m event, Brooks just missed out on another bronze when he finished fourth in a time of 3-12.7.
