WHEN I moved to Yorkshire from Hampshire (January 4, 1944), I quickly found out that if I voiced a word of criticism about anything Yorkshire I was quickly told to "b****r off back where I came from".
Could not the same be said to Graham Horne (the Cassandra of Bishopthorpe)?
After all, he seems to hate modern civilisation with such venom I would have thought he could not wait to emigrate to some underdeveloped car-less country and leave the rest of us to enjoy the benefits of modern living.
