RALLY ace Jonny Milner is out to celebrate with a double Scotch.
Fresh from his victory in the Scottish Rally, the East Yorkshire driver is now revving up for the Jim Clark Memorial Rally looking to go one better.
Last year, Milner, from Huggate, near Pocklington, finished second on the closed public tarmac roads near to the town of Duns, after a high speed collision with a wall enabled Irishman Andrew Nesbitt to claim victory.
Milner, the reigning British champion, and his Team Dynamics Pro Rally Toyota Corolla WRC took a final stage victory in last weekend's Scottish Rally, throwing down the gauntlet to their rivals.
After a two day battle with Finland's Tapio Laukkanen, Milner secured victory and his second consecutive Scottish Rally victory with a time 26 seconds faster than anyone else through the final eight mile stage.
Prior to the stage, Milner and his Welsh co-driver, Nicky Beech, had been just 6.6 seconds off the rally lead.
