IN probably their best performance to date North Yorkshire Service Area under-14s won 22-0 at Lancashire.
Dominating from the start, Yorkshire played an expansive game, opening up the home defence numerous times before finally scoring their first try through Imi Lewis, with Danny Allan then notching an impressive second.
North Yorkshire's excellent defence pinned the opposition in their own half with the forwards, particularly Billy Parker, leading the way. This enabled good possession for half-backs Ben Mason and Gareth Watson to spray the ball about.
Second half tries came from Billy Parker, Ross Divorty and more impressive work by Allan sent Lewis in for his second try.
In the latter stages, North Yorkshire endured fierce pressure but superb defence prevented the hosts from scoring.
Man of the match Charles Mcgregor, Allan, Ross Divorty, Jamie Pallister and Parker were outstanding.
