North Yorkshire golfer Simon Dyson was unable to match his first round exploits and finished well down the field in the St Omer Open in France.
The Malton and Norton ace finished four over par on the par 71 course after rounds of 69, 75, 72 and 72 to total 288, some 19 shots behind the winner, Australian Brett Rumford.
Ex-Heworth pro Neil Cheetham came in two under par after totalling 282 but was still some way short of challenging the leaders.
