HEWORTH ARLC player-coach Brendan Carlyle and new assistant Alfie Hill have called a players' meeting for Wednesday, June 18 at the Villagers' Elm Park Way clubhouse starting at 7pm.
This will act as a pre-season get-together aimed at setting out a strategy which will hopefully lead to another successful season, following last season's third-place finish in the National Conference League division two, and possibly promotion to division one. All players are urged to attend and new players will be made welcome.
Phil Sturdy, who was Carlyle's fellow player-coach last season, has had to step down from coaching duties due to work and family commitments, but he is still involved with the club.
