EASINGWOLD sidecar star Steve Webster faces more work.
An extra date has been added to the 2003 World Sidecar Championship, making the series into ten rounds. The extra race will be at the A-1 Ring, Zeltweg in Austria during the weekend of July 19-20.
The announcement was made on the eve of tomorrow's race at Silverstone.
The event in Austria runs alongside the World Endurance championship and comes three weeks after the fifth round at San Marino.
The extra date gives Klaus Klaffenbock, who leads the series with 61 points, a home round. Races have already been held in Spain, Italy and Germany.
The revised sidecar schedule is:
Round 4 - June 14, Silverstone; round 5 - June 21 Misano (San Marino), round 6 - July 19/20 A1-Ring (Austria), round 7 - July 26 Brands Hatch (Europe), round 8 - September 6 Assen (Holland), round 9 - September 27 Imola (Italy), round 10 - October 18 Magny-Cours (France).
