Wigginton racing cyclist Phil Brighton continued his build up to the European Road Race Championships in the latest Knaresborough Racing Team
Tockwith circuit races.
Three seperate events were run on the night starting with a 20-lap points race around the multi-drive centre circuit.
Brighton showed his superior sprinting ability to win every lap sprint, ensuring an easy victory.
The second event was a ten-lap hadicap which was seeded well with the scratch riders just failing to catch the longmarkers by
only 100 metres at the end.
The third and final event was a devil race where the last rider over the line each lap is eliminated. Again Brighton showed his class by winning every lap sprint and then going on to win the final lap sprint with ease.
The next event will be on Tuesday, June 24 at 7pm at the Tockwith multi-drive centre. Any riders are welcome no
matter what ability.
