YORK gained revenge when they beat Stamford Bridge by 15 runs in the quarter-final of the Senior Charity Cup.
Victory came just a week after York lost to Bridge in the Myers Burnell Cup.
Off-spinner Dan Broadbent (31) gave York a solid platform as Steve Piercy (43) and Sean Hunter (21) built a useful total of 139, despite a hostile spell from Stu Boyle (3 for 27).
Bridge's Andy Milner launched an explosive response with three fours and a six in his first scoring shots.
Boyle also weighed in before both were dismissed for 48 as Bridge strove for another win.
However, the spin of Broadbent and Jeetan Patel exerted control and Piercy chipped in with two quick wickets in the penultimate over to secure victory for the Clifton Park side.
York will now meet Osbaldwick in the semi-final on June 26.
