A GROUP of North Yorkshire students beat off tough competition to make through to the finals of a national business challenge.
Students from Raincliffe School in Scarborough won the Yorkshire heat of the Lionheart Challenge, which took place in Harrogate.
The teams had to design a business proposal, which would market Scarborough to a major European engineering company considering re-location to Yorkshire. As well as receiving the trophy, the students were also presented with tickets for the Community Shield between Arsenal and Manchester United taking place in Cardiff in August, which were donated by McDonalds.
They will represent Yorkshire at the national finals in Coventry on June 23
