Woodhouse Grange Cricket Club has three representatives in the York and District Senior League Under-11 team to play in the Lords Taverners competition.
The York representative team will open their campaign against their East Yorkshire Cricket Association counterparts at Beverley CC this Sunday, starting at 1.30pm. The tie comprises 30 overs a side and will be followed by games against Barnsley at Heworth CC on June 22, against Sheffield at Stamford Bridge CC on June 29, and against Doncaster at Doncaster CC on July 6.
The York team to play East Yorkshire CA on Sunday is: Joe Dale captain (Acomb); Adam Sutcliffe (Dunnington); Ben England, Ryan McHendry (both Thirsk); Mark Dobson, Jack Leaning (both Heworth); Oliver Stephenson (Scarborough); Joe Fox (York); Chris Bilton, Scott Reeves and Josh Miller (all Woodhouse Grange). 12th man: Harry Booth (Acomb). Reserves: Chris Myer (Dunnington); Matt Dale (Acomb); William Peet (Heworth). Meet ground 12.30pm.
