FROM shampoo to champagne - almost every type of bottle imaginable can be won by people entering the mystery tombola at St Leonard's Hospice Summer Gala on Sunday.
The prizes will be hidden under large, bottle-shaped covers made of papier mache. Winners will only discover what bottles have won when the covers are lifted.
The gala takes place in the grounds of the hospice in Tadcaster Road, York, from 11am to 3pm.
Entertainment will include City of York Pipe Band, the Tad Chorale, a brass quintet called Fanfare and magical antics by Professor Fiddlesticks, while youngsters can also enjoy Harry's Magic Castle and face-painting. Gardeners can also buy hundreds of plants, grown by hospice supporters, and there will be cake, book and bric-a-brac stalls. Organisers are also promising a barbecue and refreshments.
Admission is free, with visitors asked to park at the Park&Ride car park near the hospice.
