A WAXWORK effigy of Weakest Link presenter Anne Robinson has proved such a favourite with York Dungeon visitors that its stay has been extended by three weeks.
On loan from sister attraction the London Dungeon for a 'guest' role in the York Dungeon's new Wicked Women display, Anne should have headed back south last week.
"She's been drawing such a lot of attention from our visitors that we begged our London colleagues to let us keep her a bit longer," said boss Helen Douglas. "Eventually they relented."
The game show hostess with acid tongue was 'delighted' at her inclusion in the original London exhibition - and even provided one of her TV outfits for the waxwork, which it still wears.
The waxwork Anne will now head back to London at the end of June, but the Wicked Women exhibition will feature through the summer.
