More details have emerged of the injuries suffered by a Dringhouses family in a road crash in Huntington Road, York.
A 42-year-old woman who had to be cut out of the car she was driving suffered hand and leg injuries while her husband is in York Hospital coronary care unit with chest injuries. Their 11-year-old daughter is being treated for abdominal and bowel injuries while her brothers, aged 14 and 17, were treated for shock and minor injuries.
The family had been to an 18th birthday party when their car was in collision with another vehicle outside the Yearsley Grove pub on Saturday night.
