NEWLY-CROWNED English ladies golf champion Emma Duggleby was today starting her drive to capture the British title.
The Malton and Norton Golf Club ace was among a 138-strong entry list for the British Ladies Open Amateur championship at the Lindrick course near Sheffield. After 36 rounds of strokeplay the leading 64 players will go into the match-play rounds culminating in the final on Saturday.
Among Duggleby's main challengers will be Ganton's Naomi Edwards, whom she beat in the final to win the English title last month.
