POLICE are hunting a man who attacked a "vulnerable adult" moments after being thrown out of an amusement arcade in Bridlington.
The victim, a 19-year-old Bridlington man who has the mental age of a 12-year-old, was punched twice in the face during the daylight attack outside Forum Amusement Arcade on the Esplanade.
Humberside Police are now looking for witnesses to the incident, which happened at 12.25pm on Friday.
A police spokesman said the victim was walking along the Esplanade when he was approached by one of two men who had been ejected from the arcade.
He said: "The male walked towards the injured party and punched him in the face twice, without provocation.
"The injured party, aged 19 and from Bridlington, has a mental age of 12 or 13 years and is classified as a vulnerable adult."
The attacker was said to be wearing a hearing aid. He was white, aged in the his late teens to early 20s, wearing a white baseball cap.
He was also said to have scars, although it was not known where the scars were.
