Malton entered into the party spirit to help Brawby arts venue, The Shed, celebrate its 11th birthday.
The Shed Comes To Town saw the crowds flock to Malton Market Place for a free two-day musical extravaganza at the weekend.
The event was organised by The Shed and Malton and Norton Town Centre Management.
It included performances by a number of groups, including the Snake Davis Band, Hank Wangford and the Lost Cowboys, and the Blues Collective on Saturday.
Young Ryedale bands got the chance to step into the limelight and show off their talent with Spinkfest. Performers included pupils from Malton School, Ryedale School, Norton College and Lady Lumley's School, Pickering.
Yesterday, the emphasis was on jazz, with music from trombonist Annie Whitehead, pianist David Gordon and the Joe Townsend Band.
Ros Braithwaite, of the Royal Oak, in Market Place, Malton, said: "It was absolutely fabulous, everyone had a really good time. There was an awful lot of people in the Market Place, and the weather was fantastic."
