STREET performers, acrobats and musicians brought a Mediterranean feel to the city centre when York's annual busking festival took place.
Hundreds of tourist bathed in the sun as they were entertained by performers taking part in the festival in Parliament Street.
The hot weather brought droves of spectators who gathered to see the wealth of talent on offer.
The popular festival, which was revived last year following a three-year break, delighted children and adults who stood and watched the fun.
One of the most popular events was the recreation of Blondin's 1875 tightrope walk across the Niagara Falls, by Dr Southall's Medicine Show.
The festival also featured The Fairly Famous Family and the Grand Theatre of Lemmings.
