A COMMUNITY project to make transport available to Selby residents who cannot access public transport easily is looking for new recruits.
The Selby District Volunteer Community Transport Scheme needs more drivers to meet the demand for its services.
The scheme currently has 21 volunteer drivers who provide transport to hospital, GPs, dental and hairdressing appointments, as well as local shopping trips and bank visits.
Volunteer drivers can spare as much time as they wish, and anyone interested should contact Irene on 01757 708036.
