THANK you for publicising my 90th birthday sponsored swim, which has raised £1,200 for York Blind Society (I can still accept money).

I must also pay tribute to the staff of Francis Scaife swimming pool, Pocklington, who were more than helpful. Mention must be made, too, of Sundora at Pocklington. This company gave me £100.

I am more than just grateful to the numerous kind people who sponsored my swim so generously.
