Cash-troubled Scarborough FC were confident of getting a Creditors Voluntary Arrangement agreed at today's meeting of creditors in Hull.
A proposal to change the ownership of the club - leading eventually to the sale of the Conference club's McCain Stadium and a move to a new ground on the outskirts of the resort - was expected to appease the club's major creditor, the Inland Revenue.
