PUPILS from six York schools were at the University of York today to take part in a maths, physics and engineering fair.
The event, which is organised by North Yorkshire Business and Education Partnership (NYBEP), is made up of workshops to bring maths, physics and engineering activities to life.
Students will be able to look at the evolution of an organism, how genes work and how bird and bugs see things.
Event organiser for NYBEP, Hazel Baker, said: "The fair is a significant event in the school calendar and seeks to complement, enhance and enrich the delivery of the Key Stage 3 science curriculum within the classroom. The students will also have lots of fun taking part in the activities on offer".
