York City witnessed shots of a different kind yesterday as they went to the UK Snooker Championship at the Barbican.
With their FA Cup second round tie against Brentford just days away, boss Terry Dolan has opted for the top snooker event to build team morale.
Before the afternoon session the players met up with former world champion Stephen Hendry, who opened his bid for the UK title today.
Previously, the City squad had been go-karting and to Aldwark Manor for the day, but with no funds available Dolan has managed to get his squad in to see some top potting action.
Their trip was organised by Nick Lawn, of motor dealers C D Bramall, Malton Road, York.
