THE staff at York Hospital deserve medals as big as dustbin lids for the magnificent work they do.
This is especially so right now with ongoing alterations leading to unavoidable, sometimes overcrowded rabbit warren, conditions.
On a recent morning of tests all was smoothly organised for me. I was even efficiently trundled through the hospital labyrinths on a set of wheels by an earthly saint.
When all is completed, a chum and I have promised ourselves a full day out at the hospital.
We understand there is to be shopping on offer and lunches, so we won't have to bring our snack bags.
