I HOPE the York City board will choose a manager who believes in having wing men in the team, as it seemed Terry Dolan didn't.
It was always down the middle which is all right if one is fighting relegation, playing so as not to lose, but when City were above halfway more attacking football was needed.
Some speed down each wing getting plenty of crosses in was needed because strikers are only as good as the service they receive. My point was proved by the 'goals scored' which was a disgrace for a team near the top of the table.
When City have had good teams in the past they have always had good wing men, the last being Tony Canham and Jon McCarthy.
The support will dwindle unless more attractive football than we have had in the last few seasons is played.
