YORK 800 metres runner Emma Macalister-Hall's recent success continued as she was crowned North of England champion at Liverpool.
The Nestl Rowntree AC ace went in to the championships fresh from winning the Yorkshire County Championships.
After qualifying comfortably for the final, Macalister-Hall moved away from the rest of the field in the last 200 metres to win in two minutes 19.57 seconds.
Other athletes from Nestl who reached the finals at Liverpool were Jessica Taylor, who finished eighth in the Under-17 women's 100m in 12.79 secs, and Will Steel, who was fourth in the U17 men's hammer with a throw of 38.07metres.
