A 20-YEAR-OLD York man today appeared before the city's magistrates charged with attempted murder.
James Christopher Glenton of Rowntree Avenue, Clifton, is alleged to have tried to kill Richard Sampson and wounded Carrie Dowson with intent to cause her grievous bodily harm in York on Saturday, May 31.
His solicitor, John Howard, made no application for bail and he was remanded in custody to appear before York Crown Court later this month.
