Three Pocklington batsmen played substantial innings to help them reach 196-9 - Colin Forsdyke 44, Ted Donkin 47 and Alex Downey 46. Keith Till took 3-38 for the visitors, who were dismissed for 129. Dave Gamble took 4-25 to help end Sessay's unbeaten record.

Selby were able to protect their unbeaten record when they negotiated a narrow two-wicket win against Huntington.

Colin Banks took 4-35 as Huntington struggled to a modest 113-9 with Len Watson making 28 and Richard Shaw 25. Selby's batsemen then also found run scoring hazardous as Steve Beales hit back with 4-41 but Scott Smith (30), Richard Firth (29) and Peter Hoyle (33) were able to secure a home win at 117-8.

Veteran Alwyn Yorke made an unbeaten 40 for Dringhouses against Tadcaster Magnet but his side remain at the foot of the section after the Brewers ran out six-wicket victors.

Harper went on to take 5-36 as Rowntrees made a reasonable 164-8.

Thirsk reached 48 before losing three wickets at that score but Mark Cressay (26) steadied the boat while Paul Harrison kept the factory side in the hunt with 3-35.

Pressure on the Thirsk batsmen was eased by skipper Harper who came good with 34 to help Thirsk to a two-wicket win with ten balls to spare.

Darren Graves (26) and Martin Denby (27) were the chief contributors to Carlton's 130-9 as Dave King took 4-43. Former Malton junior Steven Fieldsend then made 28 before Ed Sykes steered Stamford to the winning post with an unbeaten 36.

Wilberfoss were toppled for a dismal 25 when they entertained a York side who seem to be too strong for division six.

Wilberfoss were overwhelmed by 19-year-old Simon Hall who had an amazing 7-9 haul.

Jez Richards and Seth Deghaye then knocked off the mediocre target with consummate ease.

Leaders Selby handed out a severe 161-run beating to Thorp Arch & Boston Spa. Selby made 218-9 with Phil Jolly hitting 75, Steve Rowbottom 46 and Gareth Roberts 37. Roberts then took 3-5 in a cameo four-over spell but his figures were bettered by Kev Lund's 3-3. With Richard Sherwood taking 3-22, TABS were quickly demolished for only 57.

Bolton Percy emulated their senior side by grabbing a last-ball win at the expense of Cawood.

Dave Bath completely dominated the Cawood innings with an unbeaten 82 out of 135-6 with his team-mates struggling as Peter Atkinson took 3-39. Bath then captured 5-22 and must have been distraught when Bolton were able to scramble a two-wicket win off the final delivery.
