North Yorkshire Service Area Under-13s lost 28-16 against the Bradford Area at Cougar Park, Keighley.
The visitors found themselves 4-0 up after three minutes after some excellent work from full back Adam Jones which put Tom Harrison in the corner.
North Yorkshire increased their advantage when Dave Leeke broke the defence and scored under the posts. Adam Jones added the conversion to make it 10-0.
The home side hit back with two converted scores to take a 12-10 half-time lead.
After the break Bradford continued to apply the pressure and ran in three further tries, two being converted, to lead 28-10.
North Yorkshire bounced back when Tom Harrison put his brother Oliver Harrison over in the corner, Jones adding the conversion from the touch line.
The hard-working Harrison twins, along with Jones, James Milward, Jack Hawkins and Leeke were outstanding.
North Yorkshire's Under-14s drew 30-30 with their Bradford counterparts.
Danny Allan scored four tries enabling North Yorkshire to go in at half-time 20-18 in credit.
The second half started with North Yorkshire making mistakes to allow Bradford to take the upper hand but NY came back with further tries through man of the match Chris Brunning and Sam Millward with Allan adding three goals.
There were fine performances from Billy Parker, Millward, Scott Jackson, Danny Allan, Gareth Watson and Stevie Huller.
