DESPITE getting the worst of a draw against Whitkirk, Huby continue to lead division four.
Huby captain Paul Moore took 6-42 to help sew up maximum bowling points but Whitkirk were able to total a useful 194.
Huby's Darren Howell made 38, Mark Mierzwinski 29 and Dan Grainger 36 as Huby were just able to preserve their unbeaten record by hanging in at 176-9.
Leaders Malton & Old Malton earned 21 points as they had the best of a draw against Dunnington.
Malton were taken to 206-6 when John Foxton made 63no, Andy Tyres 37 and Dave Bradshaw 31. Dave Kitching took 4-69 for Dunnington then top-scored with 31.
Chris Brigham threatened to bowl Malton to victory with 4-32 but the home side's last pair held out for a draw.
Sheriff Hutton Bridge eased into third place with a 59-run victory at Acomb who were tumbled out for 84.
David Coverdale made 46 in Bridge's 143-8 as Nick Hinde took 3-34. Coverdale then took 3-18, Steve Glaves 3-41 and Rich Carroll 3-17 to speed the Bridge to their win.
Bottom side Cawood were toppled over for 120 at Easingwold as Alan Robinson took 5-29 and Trevor Smith 3-18.
But Nigel Bartram took 5-34 in 21 overs and Simon Hall 3-23 to contain Easingwold to 103-8. The decisive innings of the game came from Cawood's Richard Nicholson who made 57, while Miles Taylor provided a handy 27 runs to Cawood's cause.
Another game where the the last pair earned a draw occured when Osbaldwick denied Londesbrough Park outright victory.
John Williamson made 34 and Chris Barlow 27 to help Park to 152-9 with Colin Sanctuary bowling 23 overs in the heat to take 3-59. Osbaldwick's initial runs came from Philip Hall (25) and Andy Hall (32) before wickets fell and it was left to Peter Machin to steer his side to a draw at 112-9 with an unbeaten 29.
Sheriff Hutton's five-wicket win left Thorp Arch searching for their first win of the season.
Hugh Faith's 16-overs spell earned him 5-41 as TABS took first innings. He had sound support from Richard Armitage (4-31) as the pair dismissed the visitors for 129.
Peter Carr, at the top of the Sheriff order then hit 67 out of 91-3 to set up a five-wicket win.
