EAST Yorkshire is to get a taste of southern Africa, as a song and dance group from Zimbabwe prepare to visit the area.
Black Umfolosi will perform at Oak House, in Pocklington, as part of the Beverley and East Riding Folk Festival at 8pm on June 7. The group, famous for harmonic a cappella singing and traditional African dancing, are also running two workshops in vocal harmony and gumboot dancing at 3.30pm on June 7.
