Sleeve: Front cover shows unimaginative photo of the band, only track listings appear on the back.
Sleevenotes: Excellent notes on formation of the band and their rise to fame (well, almost).
Content: 3 CDs, 51 tracks - but all over the place and not in chronological order.
High point: The 16-page booklet has superb photos of the young Billy Idol.
Low point: Wild Dub, the dub version of Wild Youth, spoils a good track.
Glaring omissions? Nothing seems to have been missed.
Anything new?: Two of the three CDs are previously unreleased; Sweet Revenge album and a live recording made in Osaka in 1978.
Excuse for release: Feeble. Sweet Revenge should have been released on its own. The other CDs are too repetitious.
Where might this end up? At the back of the CD cabinet, unloved and forgotten.
