ARMY Cadets from York have successfully completed a strenuous week-long training course to improve their skills.
Cadet Sergeant Gavin Coe, of Strensall detachment, Cadet Sergeant Geoff Jamieson, Acomb detachment and Cadet Sergeant Angela Kaye, Fulford detachment, undertook the Senior Cadets' Initial Training Course at Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Strensall. The course teaches senior cadets how to instruct in fieldcraft, map and compass, first aid and other life skills.
If you can spare two evenings a week, one weekend every five, and up to two weeks in the summer holidays to help young people get a good start in life, please go along to your local Army Cadet Force Detachment for a chat.
