I AM researching my family tree, the Bycrofts and Sharps. Edward Bycroft, combmaker, and was my great great grandfather.

Born in Bradford in about 1822, he married Mary Ann Leeson in 1852 Aberdeen. They eventually settled in York. I am seeking any Bycrofts in York who may be related to try and fill in the gaps.

I am also looking for any related Sharps: my great grandfather John Sharp, another combmaker, was born in Howden in 1849 and died York in 1879.
