Fulford played Bishopthorpe in division one of Fulford Ladies Invitation League and could not find a way to hold the number one pairing of Jill McCreedy and Jackie Heels.
They only dropped three games winning 11-1, 10-2, 12-0 to help keep their team at the top along with York, who beat Bubwith 77-31.
Jill Schofield and Kirsty Godwin, Bubwith's number ones, did very well beating two couples and only going down 5-7 to arguably the best couple in the entire division - Wendy Stirke and Louise Lister.
Dunnington made it three in a row beating Poppleton 63-45.
Nicola Loten and Joyce Rhodes top-scored with three wins and were well supported by team-mates Denise Bolam and Susie Booth, who also had three good wins.
Castlegarth are the only unbeaten team in division two but are being pushed by Wheldrake, who were too strong for New Earswick as they crushed their opponents 89-19.
Cawood beat neighbours Wistow to go top of division three. Sue Matchett and Lorraine Bishop top-scored, winning all their three rubbers en route to collecting 25 games.
Cliffe moved into third place beating Sutton-upon-Derwent 74-34. Julie Barker and Julie Barber claimed 28 games.
Heworth lost their first match but still held on to top spot in division four after Wheldrake had a good 61-47 win. Heworth's number one duo, Helen Larkin and Loise Haritakis, beat all the Wheldrake team collecting 29 games. Wigginton won their second match beating struggling Pocklington 66-42, against whom Sue and Karen Espiner enjoyed three sound wins 8-4, 11-1, 10-2.
Dunnington stay top of division five beating Boston Spa 81-27. Jill Jackson and Judith Moks top-scored as they won 28 games.
Next Generation beat Copmanthorpe 70-38. Kelly Sadler and Rosalie Butler-Adams top-scored winning 30 games.
They then visited Fulford in a close match in which they had a player short. But Jeanne Loadman and Past Hickson, along with Jean Haw and Pat Brisbane, and third couple Margaret Hessay and Pam Mason, rallied together to give a 66-42 win to Fulford.
Dunnington beat Selby 79-29 and did not drop a single rubber. Top scorers were Jean Yates and Di Wrigglesworth winning 28 games.
