Tadcaster Magnet took three wickets in the last over to gain their best result of the season when they tied at home to York and District Senior League division one leaders Sheriff Hutton Bridge.
New Zealander Shaun Cook was Tadcaster's top scorer with 32 whilst Mick Ransome made 31, but the bowling of Paul Oldfield (5-56) and Mike Smith (3-63) appeared to have put the Bridge in pole position as the home side totalled 167-8.
Peter Crowder then made 49 and Craig Hunter an unbeaten 31 as Sheriff Hutton Bridge entered the final over needing two runs to win with three wickets in hand.
Paul Downey then crowned a fine 24-over spell by restricting the batsmen to one run as the three wickets all fell to leave the scores level as Bridge were all out for 167.
Duncombe Park moved into second place, 22 points behind the Bridge, after taking the full 30 points at Stamford Bridge, although the runners-up spot could be usurped by Hull Zingari, whose result at Pocklington is not known.
Park totalled 219-7 through the efforts of Peter Humpleby (68), Mark Wilkie (46) and Brian Leckenby (26).
Peter Richardson then took 4-36 to dismiss bottom of the table Stamford Bridge for 130.
York II took first innings at home to Goole Town.
Dave Catlow made 30 but Guatam Sharma took 5-36 and Dave England 4-45 to dismiss York for 110.
James Pringle hit back with 3-30 but Anthony Gibbins made 52 to give Goole victory by four wickets.
