Glenn McHale took 7-25, the best figures of the season in York and District Senior League League, as Bridlington's 96-run win over bottom-placed Stillington took them 23 points clear at the top of division two.

Bridlington' overseas star Hafiz Khalid was dismissed by the first ball of the match.

Wayne Oliphant made 44 and McHale 38 but Wayne Linton took 4-32 and Richard Coultas 3-20 as Bridlington were dismissed for 148.

McHale's figures beat the previous seasonal best of 7-28 by Ripon's Paul Mason, and with Hafiz Khalid taking 3-21, Stillington were bowled out for just 52.

Dringhouses are second in the table after a fine win at Studley Royal.

Dringhouses made only 141-9 as Robert Mackle took 3-31 but struck back as Dave Todd took 5-23 and Alistair Darnell 3-27 to dismiss the home side for 72.
