BOSSES at a scary York visitor attraction have revealed why their latest exhibit is so terrifyingly true to life.
As reported in the Evening Press last week, a waxwork of TV presenter Anne Robinson, famous for humiliating contestants on The Weakest Link, is on show at York Dungeon this week.
And the reason her "double" in the Dungeon's Wickedest Women exhibition looks spookily lifelike is because the tight leather trousers and long leather jacket are actually hers. Anne donated her belongings to the original exhibit at the London Dungeon - even the trademark dark-rimmed glasses are an old pair of hers, said Helen Douglas, manager at the York attraction.
"We have her for a week, although the Wickedest Women exhibition is open throughout the year," she said.
"She seems to be proving very popular and we will try to keep her for a bit longer.
"It's so lifelike, it's scary."
