BUSINESS-minded sixth-formers from an East Yorkshire boarding school have won an award.

Students from Pocklington School won the Young Enterprise Award for the Best Financially Managed Company with their company, Enigma.

Financial director Chris Massey put his A level courses in Economics, Business Studies and Mathematics to good use by making sure the company's accounts added up.

Managing director Vicky Wilkinson headed the team which also included Mark Denness, Luke Rushworth and Matthew Tremayne.

Enigma, which sells door signs and trinket boxes, scooped the award at the Young Enterprise awards evening in Hessle.
