Ian Parnaby, who registered to play for Rowntree on the morning of the match, took 6-53 in 21.4 overs against Pocklington in division five of York and District Senior League.
Pocklington were all out for 132 in 43.4 overs. Rowntree opener Alan Roberts then made a solid 37 but the batting then collapsed to 77 all out as Dave Gamble and Mal Harrison each claimed 3-11.
Selby were held to a draw by Stamford Bridge's last pair and so lost top spot in the division. They failed to clinch the fifth batting point as they reached 197 for eight, Malcolm Bowden top scoring with 70 as Stamford Bridge's Andy Winfield took 5-79.
James Still then took 3-15, but Ian Fraser (28) did just enough to gain a draw as Stamford Bridge closed on 81-9.
